AggreBind is a unique cross linking styrene acrylic polymer with proprietary tracers. Its patented water based formula is cost effective and environmentally friendly. It provides excellent quality controls for contractors and specifying authorities when stabilizing soil.
AggreBind soil stabilizer primarily uses all on-site materials including sub-soils, sands, combined with mining waste and crushed construction waste to provide stable, dust free, access roads with permanent dust control and stabilization features, and water resistant soil bricks/blocks for out buildings and leanto's.
AggreBind soil stabilizer can be diluted with both sea water and fresh water with no loss in performance or strength for stabilizing soils and soil products.Recent testing indicates that AggreBind soil stabilization can also be used to seal contaminated materials so that the stabilized soil can be safely disposed of in landfill sites.AggreBind soil stabilizer is totally and completely environmentally friendly and all stabilized soils and treated can at some future date be crushed and re-used for crop/food production with no adverse effect whatsoever on the environment.

What is it?
Enzymes, Resins & Surfactants
These are anionic compounds that rely almost exclusively upon the inherent binding properties of clay. These products are very limited in their scope and rely on the negative charge (anionic) to neutralize the negative charge of the clay platelets so that the clay can be made to lay flat for compaction. Enzymes and resins are organic based and will ultimately decompose.
This will stabilize the soil for a period of time. Soil cement is porous and will ultimately degrade from the ingress of water. At best, soil cement is temporary.
Polymers, Acrylics & Latex
There are about 2,000 different polymers. Most polymers form single dimensional bonds, like scotch tape, wallpaper paste, etc. They can stick and then be peeled back.
How does it work?
Soil stabilization is both a new industry and a very old industry. Soil stabilization began 9,000 years ago when our ancestors moved out the caves and into mud & brick houses (rammed earth buildings). Today there are about 18 - 24 different companies offering 'soil stabilization' products. These technologies have developed over the last 5, 10, 15 years, more or less. The main categories of offerings are: A. enzymes, resins & surfactants. B. soil cement. C. polymers, acrylics & latex.

What can it do?
In independent laboratory testing, we increase the CBR by a factor of 4 - 6, or 400% to 600%. The ‘tracers’ are similar to a marker or a DNA being infused into the formula. The tracer enables us, post installation, to identify any installation as an AggreBind installation or not. Further, we can determine how much AggreBind was used per cubic meter. The general parameter is 4 litres of AGB concentrate per m3. So, we can identify if it is our product and we can tell you how much product was used; which meant whether the job was done within spec or was not. Because we have post installation analysis this enables us to offer a 5 Year Product Guaranty.
